In reference to the International Cleaning Day, on the 19th of September, the Kitabanga Project will organize a waste collection campaign on the beach and in the Outstanding community, located in Palmeirinhas (Area for monitoring of sea turtles by the Kitabanga Project), which will serve to raise awareness among the community and society in general about the problem of irregular disposal of solid urban waste in the sea, on the spawning beaches of sea turtles and within the community. NOTE: The transportation will be each volunteers responsibility.
